While not in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Soco Falls is generally associated with the Smoky Mountains. The falls actually is located near the western edge of the Cherokee Indian Reservaion near Maggie Valley, North Carolina. A friend of mine tells me how she once asked a Native American woman how to locate this waterfall. The Native American woman told her she should stay away. That it was a place of evil. I've visited this beautiful geologic feature several times and, so far, have not been overcome with evil. It is a lovely double falls and well worth a visit in my opinion.の素材 [FY310183553193]
